We had made our garage into Spotie 's place to live now . So she had lots of place to run about . It wasn't a small space , it is around 250 sq ft . We parked our car and a bike here earlier . Later the car was parked outside to make space for Spotzie to play . Then after a month my bike was also moved out , read in for the reason . She has all the space for herself now. We don't believe in tying our Spotie. We believe she should have her freedom of moving about . She plays in that space now . She plays fetch , she gets trained there by Zoe , she rests and also barks at other animals from there . She is super friendly , no Hooman can hurt her its only the animals like cows ,stray dogs, Squirrel ,birds , well all Hoomans are her friends and all animals are her enemies . That's what she thinks . Any human comes home she wags her tail for them . Oh ! She is so happy .
There was a bag of cement lying in the garage which we hardly noticed it was there from many days but it was noticed by Spotie . One afternoon when my son was leaving for his coaching class he saw our whole garage had cement like carpet everywhere . On checking we found our darling naughty Spotie too was covered with cement . She was so excited to be playing with her so called toy . With cement covered on her body her nose and eyes everywhere . Her favorite toy the blue squeaky bone too was covered with cement .We were shocked as to how she opened the bag . Cleaning Spotie was now a tough job .How to clean this mess in the garage was also a big question . She was enjoying doing it and I had to stop her . I confronted her ,she understood that she had done a mistake . On her bed right away she looked at me with guilty eyes and a sad face making me feel sorry for the wrong I did by scolding her . We cleaned and cleaned the whole area then gave Spotie a warm bath ( which of course Spotie hated ) she was clean now looked too tired . Slept most of the time afterwards . This whole incident made us cautious to not keep anything that she could play around with . She would play or chew with anything and everything she found, be it a broom, a brush, or her bed . She has ruined many beds we bought for her. Chewing them to pieces bringing out the cotton . Destruction to the highest level . Spotie found various opportunities to mess around sometimes with the bedcover she slept on or the newspaper she found .
This little brat was becoming even more naughtier day by day . I parked my bike inside the garage right from the time Spotie was adopted ,she found out that the bike had a very interesting part called the seat which was a lovely yummy thing to chew on . The night we left her for 10 hrs in the garage all alone . So the process of destruction started she chewed on the leather seat bringing the sponge out . By morning half the seat was torn to pieces . The leather seat cover was chewed on and the sponge was torn to small bits . It was all over the garage . I had to clean it thoroughly . We were worried if Spotie had eaten the sponge out of curiosity. She had not eaten it but definitely enjoyed playing with it .
All these and many more incidents made us very carefull. We moved all the chewable things from the garage (which is now called Spotie's room ) . But yes Spotie does find things in and around her room to chew on and she finds happiness in the small little things that she finds . She is a brat !
